Major investment in QMS and CRM is our focus for 2024. QMS: ISO 90001 & ISO 140001 – We’re delighted to be working closely with compliance management specialists Alpha Swanson of York. Over several years, we’ve developed robust and effective internal systems. Bringing together all our business systems under the internationally recognised ISO QMS standard is part of our ongoing objective to embed a culture of continual improvement in the company. CRM – 2024 will see us deliver the third stage of a three-part investment in our bespoke CRM Software, The HUB. Stages one and two included the delivery of a cloud-based system that connects our mobile engineers directly to The HUB. Results so far include a huge improvement in productivity, employee engagement and efficiency across all our compliance inspection works. For example, our mobile APP is designed to work offline when no internet connection is available. This enables engineers to complete inspection reports with time- and date-stamped photo evidence using their mobile phones, whether they have an internet connection or not. Once an internet connection is established, the reports auto-sync with The HUB. Stage three development will focus on achieving full company integration using The HUB. The expanded integration will include sales, manufacturing, operations, and supply-chain management. Some may reason, “If it ain’t broke, why fix it?” So why are we going to all this effort with QMS and CRM investment?
